Hey! We are so happy you could join us! Ma’Mocha Naturals is the all-in-one natural beauty package. We are a natural hair and beauty blog, online boutique, and our professional team offers hands-on workshops to women just like you to teach you how to not only style and maintain your hair but also to embrace it!
In today’s world, we personally feel like living a natural lifestyle is often made more complicated that it really needs to be. With that being said, our main goals are simple:
- Simplify the process of “Going Natural”
- Help Women to not only “Go Natural” but Stay Natural!
- Improve the inner beauty and self confidence of women through positive and upbuilding encouragement
- Improve the outer beauty of women through natural hair and beauty DIY Workshops as well as through natural products that really work
Sisters Hayley and Telise started Ma’Mocha Naturals because they truly wanted to work at accomplishing all of the above. Telise, a licensed master cosmetologist, educator, and natural hair specialist, has always loved, loved, loved natural hair while Hayley, an accountant, absolutely hated it. She said she was never going to give up her relaxer; she used to give natural haired women the ‘side eye’ as well as make disparaging remarks about natural hair in general. Honestly, she was really horrible, but then somewhere along the way, her attitude began to change (maybe her sister converted her over to the natural side, who knows). Whatever it was, she completely changed her mind and did her big chop February 2011 and has never looked back! While Hayley and Telise both had different natural hair journeys, they both shared the common resolve to want to help as many women as possible learn what they now know…that natural hair is not only beautiful its divine!
